Is the Audible app free?

This education and reference tool can be used for a limited time only as its whole service requires a subscription. There two plans that you can choose from—Plus and Premium Plus.  The Plus package plan is half-price cheaper than Premium Plus. When it comes to features, the only difference between them is credits and discounts, Premium Plus offers more. But, either of these plans gives you unlimited access to hundreds of thousands of Audible Originals, audiobooks, and podcasts including exclusive series.

If you go to the app's developer page, you will be able to access some audiobooks that are free to listen to. Although, make sure to have an Amazon or Audible account created as it will prompt you to sign in to be able to access those. Afterward, you can start selecting all the audiobooks you wish to download by clicking ‘Buy for $0.00.’ Once, all of them are selected, you can click on the 'Proceed to Checkout' button.

Before clicking ‘Complete purchase,’ you must review your order information first. You will still need to download the audiobook before you can listen to it. Just click on ‘Library’ next to the program's logo seen at the top of the webpage and press the ‘Download’ button. With Cortana voice commands, you can easily control your listening experience in button-free mode. Navigate smoothly into chapters, add bookmarks and notes as well as modify the narration speed.
